Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:

• Maximum Dimensions of Carry-on Luggage: 22in x 13in x 10in (length x width x height)
• Maximum Weight of Carry-on Luggage: 40 lb / 18 kg

Checked Baggage Allowance: 2 Pieces

Each passengers is allowed 2 checked bags as long as each bag adheres to the following requirements:

• Maximum Dimensions: 62 linear inches (length + width + height)
• Maximum Weight: 50 lbs / 23 kg

Overweight Baggage Fees

Fee for any bag weighing 51-70 lbs: $25

Fee for any bag weighing 71-99 lbs: $50

Bags weighing over 99 pounds will not be accepted.

(Note: If the bag is both oversized and overweight: both charges will apply)

Oversize Baggage Fees

Fee for any bag between 63-115 Linear inches (length + width + height): $100

Fee for any bag between 115-160 Linear inches (length + width + height): $150

Bags exceeding 160 linear inches will not be accepted.

(Note: If the bag is both oversized and overweight: both charges will apply)

Excess Baggage Fees

Fee for each additional bag: $100 each

In addition to any applicable overweight or oversized fees

Sports Equipment

Some checked items, such as surfboards and bicycles will be charged a fixed handling fee because of size, fragility, or other handling requirements while others may be checked in lieu of one of your checked bags. If you plan to travel with sporting equipment, contact Spirit directly to confirm packing regulations and fees.
