Each passenger is allowed to carry on one bag and one personal item such as a purse or briefcase. Assistive devices and outer garments do not count as personal items. All carry-on luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you and adhere to the following requirements:

• Maximum Dimensions of Bag: 45 linear in (length + width + height)
• Maximum Weight of Bag: 15 lb / 7 kg
• First and Raffles Class passengers may be allowed two items, subject to specific aircraft cabin space, stowage availability and any local country specific requirements.

• First : 88 lb / 40 kg total
• PPS Club Members: Entitled to 100% more free baggage allowance then the class they are currently booked to fly at time of check in.

KrisFlyer Elite Gold and Star Alliance Gold members: Entitled to 20 kg of extra baggage allowance to all destinations except USA and Canada. For flights to/from USA and Canada, KrisFlyer Elite Gold members are entitled to one additional piece of checked baggage.

Overweight, Oversize, and Excess Baggage Fees

Sports Equipment

Some checked items, such as surfboards and bicycles will be charged a fixed handling fee because of size, fragility, or other handling requirements while others may be checked in lieu of one of your checked bags. If you plan to travel with sporting equipment, contact Singapore Air directly to confirm packing regulations and fees.
